Profitable Solutions to the Business, Climate, and Nuclear Proliferation Problems
In this presentation given to the Berlin Conference on the Human Dimensions of Global Environmental Change, Amory Lovins explains how energy can be used in a way that saves money. He argues that this will solve the climate, oil, and proliferation problems, not at a cost but at a profit. Lovins shows evidence that climate protection can be profitable for business. As an example of a company using less energy and making a profit is the Hypercar. In this presentation, Lovins also explains negawatts, his views on nuclear power, and strategies for implementing programs to limit climate change.
