Workshop – Refining Embodied Carbon Policy Language for C-PACE

Building on our July workshop, this session will focus on advancing the integration of embodied carbon into Commercial Property Assessed Clean Energy (C-PACE) programs around the United States. Together, we will refine statute and program guideline language that will feed into our forthcoming C-PACE Embodied Carbon Model Policy Primer.
Participants will:
- Review draft statute and guideline text developed since the July workshop.
- Share feedback on clarity, enforceability, and alignment with policy goals.
- Explore options for balancing ambition with feasibility in C-PACE markets.
- Contribute to shaping the Primer, a resource to guide policymakers and program administrators across the country.
This workshop is designed for program administrators, technical experts, and other stakeholders involved in shaping C-PACE programs.
