About This Event

On Friday, May 17, 2024, the Federal Reserve Bank of New York is hosting a hybrid book event celebrating the launch of “What’s Possible: Investing NOW for Prosperous, Sustainable Neighborhoods.” This book — a collection of essays exploring the intersection of community development and climate resilience — is the result of a collaboration between Enterprise Community Partners, Local Initiatives Support Corporation, the New York Fed, and RMI. The collection includes an introduction by Catherine Coleman Flowers, an RMI board member.

RMI experts wrote key chapters on climate resilience and energy burden on low-income households. The event explores these themes through panel discussion. Charlotte Matthews, RMI Buildings managing director, will be present throughout the afternoon to discuss RMI’s pivotal role in these efforts, reflecting RMI’s ongoing work to advance clean, sustainable solutions for communities.

In-person registration closes at 11:59 pm on May 14, 2024.
