About This Event

Join RMI and International Energy Agency during Climate Week NYC for an intimate dialogue on September 24, 4:30-6:30 p.m., on why energy efficiency matters.

Energy efficiency accounts for half of the emissions reduction needed between now and 2030 to keep us on the path to net zero. It is the largest, cheapest, and most beneficial lever for driving emissions reductions. During COP28 in Dubai, countries agreed to triple renewable energy capacity and double down on efficiency gains as part of the final negotiations, and RMI’s decades of expertise in this area can guide implementation of the global efficiency goal.

Join us for cocktails and a presentation featuring RMI’s latest analysis about how to achieve the “double down” goal, the narrative we need to shift, and how we can get there together.
