India Conference at Harvard

The India Conference at Harvard is one of the largest student-run events in the United States and attracts over 1,000 members of the Indian diaspora including students, academics, business leaders, and policymakers. Past speakers have included ministers, business leaders, academics, and cultural icons including Mr. Nitin Gadkari, Mr. Abhijeet Banerjee, Mr. Amartya Sen, Mr. Ajay Banga, Mr. Azim Premji, Mrs. Kiran Mazumdar Shaw, Ms. Radhika Gupta, and more.

The theme for this year’s India Conference is “From India to the World: Business, Policy, and Culture,” celebrating India’s emergence as a global contributor and demonstrating how ideas, innovations, and voices are shaping the path for shared prosperity worldwide. The managing director of RMI’s India Program, Akshima Gate, will be speaking on “India’s Global Leadership in Climate Action” on Day 1 of the conference.
