The Acceleration Fund is helping us rapidly scale proven work while refining emerging projects that can offer a big return on philanthropic investment.
For example, the 2024 Acceleration Fund is jumpstarting projects like:
Time-sensitive support for applicants to the EPA’s Greenhouse Gas Reduction Fund, a $27 billion program to deliver the energy transition to low-income communities.
A comprehensive battery storage adoption solution to help Barbados realize their goal of 100 percent renewable energy by 2030.
Thought leadership that elevates energy efficiency as a catalyst to climate goals, so it is seen by policymakers and business leaders as just as critical as supply-side solutions.
Policy development, financing, and consumer awareness initiatives that will result in 50 percent adoption of electric two- and three-wheelers in Indonesia and Nigeria by 2027, making electric two- and three-wheelers 100 percent of sales by 2030.
