
Julia manages Urban Transformation’s Urban Nature Initiative, building evidence and support for the climate benefits and investment opportunities that urban nature offers. She also helped cities with renewable energy procurement as part of City Renewables Accelerator, a collaborative initiative with the World Resources Institute through the American Cities Climate Challenge.
Before Urban Transformation, Julia worked on RMI’s Global Climate Finance Program.
Background
Prior to RMI, Julia worked on international climate change at the US Department of State, formulating policy and negotiating on behalf of the United States at the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change, including for the Paris Agreement. Julia’s previous experience includes air quality research at the US Department of Agriculture.
