Unlocking the flow of finance remains one of the key challenges holding back climate progress in the Global South—and threatening to cast a shadow over COP26.
Denali is the Program Marketing Lead for Climate Finance, supporting the Center for Climate-Aligned Finance and the Climate Finance Access Network (CFAN). She joined RMI in December 2016 as an executive assistant, transitioning to Program Coordinator in mid-2018. She has been a Program Marketer since February 2020.
Denali graduated from Tufts University with a B.A. in English and was elected a member of Phi Beta Kappa. At Tufts she was a writing fellow, Editor in Chief of the Tufts Traveller Magazine, and worked on numerous programs focused on literacy development. For the five years before she joined RMI, she was Operations Manager for the science and outreach non-profit project, Climate Communication. There she assisted in training and supporting scientists in science communication, as well as managing logistics, social media, and contributing to writing and editing. She is a writer and editor and is committed to the importance of effectively telling the energy and environment story.
