RMI at COP28

Nov 30, 2023–Dec 12, 2023
In-person In-person

As world leaders plan to gather in Dubai for the 28th annual Conference of the Parties (COP), signals on the climate front are mixed. While growth in renewable energy has made demand for fossil fuels for electricity peak globally, and EVs are multiplying the world over, we are still off track in meeting the climate targets set to avoid the worst consequences of climate change. We are in the messy middle of action on climate solutions, and later will be too late to act.

RMI will be at COP spreading ”applied hope” that technology and market forces can bring the change we need in the world — as well as bringing the hard data on how to make that a reality.
