India Conference at Harvard
The managing director of RMI’s India Program, Akshima Ghate, will be speaking on “India’s Global Leadership in Climate Action” on Day 1 of the India Conference at Harvard Business School. Sandiip Bhammer (Green Frontier Capital) will be moderating the conversation between Akshima and Punit Goyal (Blusmart), bringing together both the private sector and policy perspectives on India’s path to decarbonization.
The India Conference at Harvard is one of the largest student-run events in the United States and attracts over 1,000 members of the Indian diaspora including students, academics, business leaders, and policymakers. Past speakers have included ministers, business leaders, academics, and cultural icons including Mr. Nitin Gadkari, Mr. Abhijeet Banerjee, Mr. Amartya Sen, Mr. Ajay Banga, Mr. Azim Premji, Mrs. Kiran Mazumdar Shaw, Ms. Radhika Gupta, and more.
The theme for this year’s India Conference is “From India to the World: Business, Policy, and Culture,” celebrating India’s emergence as a global contributor and demonstrating how ideas, innovations, and voices are shaping the path for shared prosperity worldwide.
