Lekhya Vennamaneni
Associate
Lekhya is an associate with the Carbon Free Buildings Program. She supports RMI’s Global Cooling and Embodied Carbon teams, scaling pilot programs for next-generation air conditioners, cement and steel.
Background
Prior to RMI, Lekhya worked at two early-stage startups in commercial microgrids and building retrofits—SolMicroGrid and Runwise. She also interned at NY Green Bank and brings a range of experience in finance, sales, and business development. In college, she was involved in research with the campus’s Sustainable Enterprise Center, founded UNC’s Sustainable Business Club, and consulted for a range of clean tech startups throughout her four years.
