Megan Gross-Wilkinson

Megan is a Senior Associate in RMI’s Climate Aligned Industries Program, where she leads quantitative analysis to inform industrial decarbonization strategies. Her work spans emissions and scenario modeling, techno-economic analysis, policy analysis, and research on emerging clean technologies and supply chains. Most recently, Megan has analyzed decarbonization pathways for emissions-intensive industries, including state-level industrial transition strategies, clean industrial hubs, sustainable aviation fuel, hydrogen, and critical minerals and battery materials. Across these projects, she specializes in translating complex technical, economic, and policy data into actionable insights for policymakers, industry, and other decision-makers.

Prior to joining RMI, Megan worked at the National Laboratory of the Rockies’ (formerly NREL) Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center, where she supported the development and commercialization of emerging clean energy technologies. She managed multiple cohorts of the U.S. Department of Energy’s Energy I-Corps program and conducted research, analysis, and due diligence to support clean technology entrepreneurs and commercialization programs.

Megan holds an M.S. in Sustainability Management from Columbia University, where her studies focused on greenhouse gas accounting, life cycle assessment, clean energy, and quantitative sustainability analysis.
