Sravan Chalasani is a senior associate with RMI’s Climate Intelligence Program. His work includes the development and piloting of sector-specific guidance on greenhouse gas (GHG) accounting for steel, aluminum, and other industrial supply chains with the goal of creating differentiated commodities with low-embodied emissions in these industrial sectors.
Background
Prior to joining RMI, Sravan was a senior research associate at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory, focusing on implementation and evaluation of US DOE FEMP’s Energy Efficient Product Procurement (EEPP) program. He was also estimating the impacts of climate change on the quality and quantity of water availability for US Manufacturing facilities. He also has experience working in corporate sustainability and doing research on national and regional climate change mitigation policies.
