  • Climate-Aligned Industries

Mark is a rotational cohort associate working with the Climate Aligned Industries Program. He provides technical analysis and written support for one of RMI’s Hydrogen Hub partners.

Background

Prior to joining RMI, Mark spent many years developing a career in energy and sustainability. During his undergraduate studies in physics, Mark cross-enrolled in Harvey Mudd College’s engineering program where he conducted a senior capstone project developing an energy monitoring system for a rubber molding facility. Upon graduation, he went on to earn his PhD in Energy Systems with emphasis on Industrial Ecology. His dissertation used life-cycle assessment to evaluate greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions reduction strategies considered by local governments in California and assessed how these jurisdictions can best improve their climate change mitigation efforts to become more cost-effective and equitable.
