Background
Kyle was previously a research economist in the Center for Applied Economics and Strategy at RTI International, a nonprofit research institute. During his time at RTI, Kyle conducted research at the intersection of economics, energy, climate, and technology. His work included analyzing decarbonization in the transportation sector, technoeconomic analysis of non-CO2 greenhouse gas mitigation technologies, off-grid energy market research, and the odd program evaluation in between. Before graduate school, Kyle spent two years with the Peace Corps in the Republic of Vanuatu, where he developed curriculum and taught computer skills to students and teachers at a primary school.
