Kevin Gauthier

Kevin is a geoscience advisor, supporting the Climate Intelligence Program’s Oil and Gas Solutions Initiative. He advances emissions modeling by applying upstream oil and gas expertise to identify, design, and evaluate emissions-reduction opportunities across the value chain.

Background

Before RMI, Kevin was a technical project manager and senior geophysicist with Schlumberger, focusing on the upstream energy sector. He managed large geophysical exploration projects in varied geologic settings, including the Gulf of Mexico, the continental United States, the North Sea, and the Arabian Peninsula. Over 10 years he was lucky enough to spend time or live in the UK, France, UAE, Norway, Italy, Mexico, and the United States, working with global and diverse teams.
