Kaitlin is a director of the Center for Climate-Aligned Finance where she oversees the strategic direction of the Center’s firm- and systems-level programs including partner engagement, sector-wide alignment insights, advisory and implementation strategies, and policy and regulatory engagement.

Background

With ten years of experience in the banking industry, Kaitlin brings a practitioner’s view to climate portfolio alignment given her role as climate lead at ING where she oversaw the bank’s Climate strategy development and execution. Most notably, Kaitlin lead the development and implementation of the Terra Approach, the bank’s strategic program for steering their $700+ billion lending portfolio in line with the goals of the Paris Agreement. She was lead author of the 2019 and 2020 Terra Progress Reports, a first-of-their-kind annual report on portfolio climate alignment.
