Jasmine is a manager on the US Program supporting the America is All In coalition, the most expansive coalition of leaders ever assembled in support of climate action in the United States. She has focused on subnational policy campaigns for climate-aligned building regulations and landfill methane mitigation and supports subnational organizations in their uptake of Inflation Reduction Act clean energy incentives.
Background
Before joining RMI, Jasmine earned her master’s degree in Public Administration in Environmental Science and Policy from Columbia University. Her graduate program focused on environmental studies and its intersection with international affairs and social equity. During her graduate program, Jasmine was a research assistant at the Center on Global Energy Policy and worked on international climate finance initiatives in the private sector, specifically for emerging markets and developing economies. She was also a co-organizer for Columbia University’s inaugural Food Systems Symposium on how to create low-carbon, climate-resilient, and more efficient and just food systems.
Prior to graduate school, she worked at WegoWise by AppFolio, an energy software startup in Boston advising real estate clients on their building performance and sustainability reporting. She founded a corporate sustainability team within the company and led employee webinars on sustainable living, including waste reduction and benefits of a plant-based diet.
