
Ella is an associate at the Center for Climate Aligned Finance. She works with financial institutions to align their investing and lending decisions with climate goals.
Background
Ella’s background is in finance, sustainability, and entrepreneurship. She started her career at BlackRock, and most recently, she worked at a venture fund and innovation firm focused on clean energy and mobility solutions, where she led startup sourcing, due diligence, and research engagements with the firm’s corporate partners.
Prior to RMI, Ella earned her undergraduate degree in Economics from Brown University. She has published multiple pieces on sustainable finance at Brown, Yale, and NYU Stern’s Center for Sustainable Business, including Financing Mechanisms for Sustainable Urban Infrastructure, as well as a finance white paper focused on aligning finance with the Sustainable Development Goals. She also has professional experience managing operations, strategy, and product development at early-stage startups.
