Barbara creates, manages, and distributes digital and social media content to translate RMI research into compelling, accessible, and engaging online content for business leaders, policymakers, and other stakeholders. She leverages her skills in storytelling and data-driven analysis to help engage RMI’s audiences, expand RMI’s reach, and support RMI’s goal of securing a clean, prosperous, zero-carbon future for all.
Background
Barbara started her career in sports marketing, working in major league baseball before pursuing a Master of International Affairs with an energy and environment concentration. As Canary Media’s social media manager, she created timely and informative social media content that supported Canary journalists’ work, drove engagement, and connected with readership. Barbara is passionate about using her experience and expertise in strategic communications and policy to motivate and inspire others to reduce waste, improve sustainability, and protect global resources.
