Anisha Krishnakumar

Senior Associate
  • Climate-Aligned Industries

Anisha is a senior associate on the Climate-Aligned Industries program, supporting RMI’s work in industrial decarbonization. Her current focus includes research and strategy for commercializing climate-tech innovation in the chemicals sector, and analysis for accelerating differentiated low-emission chemicals markets. She also helps drive deployment of carbon management projects for emissions reduction in hard-to-abate sectors of heavy industry.

Background

Prior to joining RMI, Anisha worked in engineering and project management roles at ExxonMobil. After working in industry for three years, she went to Duke University for a master’s degree in engineering management. As a graduate student, she helped organize Duke’s flagship clean energy conference and led cross-school climate initiatives. Most recently, Anisha was a 2023 fellow of the RECS program – a US Department of Energy-sponsored fellowship for young leaders in carbon management and energy transition.
