Methane Training Network
About the Methane Training Network
The Methane Training Network is a peer learning initiative led by RMI in partnership with the Africa Centre for Energy Policy (ACEP) to connect African stakeholders working on oil and gas methane mitigation. The network brings together policymakers, regulators, operators, and civil society to exchange experiences and lessons learned as methane action accelerates across the region.
Through monthly virtual seminars, participants learn from peers and guest speakers, and discuss the current technical, regulatory, and market developments shaping methane mitigation across Africa. The network helps participants turn knowledge into action by strengthening regional capacity, fostering collaboration, and creating an ongoing community of practice focused on oil and gas methane management in Africa.
