The RMI Global Women in Clean Energy (GWiCE) fellowship launched in 2025 to support women across the Global South to become stronger leaders in the clean energy space. The program takes an equitable, human-centered approach to technical and leadership development, helping fellows identify what is personally meaningful to them and translate that personal purpose into confident action to advance clean energy project implementation in their communities.
This interactive session at Climate Week NYC will provide an overview of how the GWiCE program elevated its fellows, as well as a space to explore key leadership superpowers, personal purpose and personal branding in practice. Through guided prompts, participants will connect deeply with themselves and engage with their peers through facilitated exchanges on how they can apply GWiCE leadership learnings to their work. Participants will leave with practical ways forward on how to more effectively lead in the climate space.
