The RMI Global Women in Clean Energy (GWiCE) fellowship launched in 2025 to support women across the Global South to become stronger leaders in the clean energy space. It is designed to create a positive shift by cultivating leaders in an equitable approach that centers what is meaningful to fellows personally so that they take action with confidence when advancing clean energy project implementation locally.

This interactive session at Climate Week NYC will provide an overview of how the GWiCE program elevated its fellows, as well as a space to explore key leadership superpowers, as well as personal purpose and branding in practice. Through guided prompts, participants will connect deeply with themselves and engage with their peers through facilitated exchanges on how they can apply GWiCE learnings to their work. Participants will leave with practical ways forward on how to better lead in the climate space.
