Asia is the epicenter of both global steel production and maritime transport, two of the hardest-to-abate sectors but also among the most critical levers for transformation. This event will bring together diverse stakeholders to build momentum for green steel maritime demonstration projects and partnerships, while showcasing regional leadership in integrated land-sea transitions.
Objectives
· Position Asia as a leader in linking steel and shipping decarbonization.
· Promote green steel as an actionable pathway for industrial competitiveness and climate action.
· Identify policy and finance mechanisms to accelerate investment in green steel maritime corridors.
· Strengthen regional collaboration among governments, industry, financiers, and civil society.
