Webinar — CDOP: Adopting an Open Data Protocol for Interoperability in Carbon Data

Thursday · June 18, 2026
11:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. ET
Virtual Virtual

Carbon crediting data continues to be fragmented, inaccessible, and lacking standardization. The Carbon Data Open Protocol (CDOP) is a multi-stakeholder, member driven collaboration tackling this problem head-on. CDOP is building an open data protocol to increase interoperability while reducing friction and allowing carbon crediting data to be shared seamlessly, consistently, and transparently.

This webinar will provide a brief overview of CDOP’s mission and structure before highlighting what has been achieved so far, where the work currently stands, and CDOP’s future goals. The webinar will conclude with active discussion and live demonstrations from CDOP members about how the schema is being implemented within organizations and the value-add it is providing. Designed for a broad audience, this webinar aims to bring new stakeholders into the CDOP conversation, create a clearer picture of how CDOP’s work is being taken up and applied, and build momentum ahead of London Climate Action Week.
