India Maritime Week 2025: Green Maritime Day

India Maritime Week (IMW) is the Ministry of Ports, Shipping and Waterways’ (MoPSW) flagship forum to advance global cooperation on sustainable, safe, and efficient maritime trade, taking place 27–31 October 2025 at the Bombay Exhibition Centre, Goregaon, Mumbai, India. This year’s edition will bring together ministers, regulators, port authorities, industry leaders, financiers, and technical experts to exchange best practices, forge partnerships, and chart a path toward a resilient, zero-carbon maritime future. 

RMI, India’s National Centre of Excellence in Green Ports (NCOEGPS), and Lloyd’s Register (LR) are partnering with MoPSW to host Green Maritime Day (GMD) during IMW on 28 October 2025, from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. IST at the Bombay Exhibition Centre. The day will feature in-depth discussions on key topics shaping sustainable maritime operations, including the development of green shipping corridors, the establishment of green-fuel export and bunkering hubs, the deployment of zero-emission trucks, maritime pollution, and the integration of shore-power solutions. 

In collaboration with MoPSW, GMD will provide a focused platform for thought leaders to share insights, exchange ideas, and explore collaborative efforts toward decarbonizing the maritime industry. We look forward to a constructive dialogue that will help shape the trajectory of green shipping in India and globally.
