Ayaan Asthana
Associate
Ayaan is an associate with the electricity team. His work focuses on global data center load growth strategy in Southeast Asia, tariff design, and flexibility solutions to address key challenges across geographies.
Background
Prior to RMI, Ayaan worked at Earth Finance, a boutique energy consulting firm. He developed corporate sustainability and financing strategy for Fortune 15 companies and conducted technical research for utilities on emerging technologies. In college, Ayaan was an active member of Stanford’s clean tech venture ecosystem, helping found a low-carbon cement startup. He interned at Third Derivative in 2022 as a Schneider Fellow and is excited to be back at RMI!
