Ashita is a Manager on the Carbon-Free Buildings program, where she oversees building electrification policy solutions in the Northeast and Midwest.
Background
Prior to leading the team’s efforts across the Northeast and Midwest, Ashita served as the Carbon-free Buildings lead in the Mid-Atlantic. Ashita previously worked as a communications associate at Climate Nexus, where she found opportunities to promote building and appliance electrification measures in the media. Ashita has also previously worked as an environmental journalism fellow, as an intern at the White House Council on Environmental Quality, and as a freelance writer.
