CFAN Caribbean Training – Live Session 4.2 Blue bonds and debt swaps

The focus of Live Session 4.2 is blue bonds and debt wwaps and will be led by representatives from The Nature Conservancy, CAF, and CIBC Caribbean. In two parts, this session will address what blue bonds and debt swaps are and in which instances they can be used. Using case studies, we will highlight how to successfully finance projects using both blue bonds and debt swaps. Part 1 will introduce blue bonds and debt swaps and their applications and successes in the Caribbean. Part 2 will focus on emerging opportunities to leverage blue bonds and debt swaps in the face of increasing vulnerability.
