What’s Possible: Health, Equity, and Climate-Aligned Affordable Housing
Join us for an inspiring evening dedicated to solutions for healthy, safe, and climate-aligned affordable housing. This event celebrates the release of the groundbreaking book, What’s Possible: Investing NOW for Prosperous, Sustainable Neighborhoods.
Our keynote, renowned American environmental health researcher, writer, and founder of the Center for Rural Enterprise and Environmental Justice, Catherine Coleman Flowers, who was selected as a MacArthur Fellow in 2020 and sits on RMI’s board of trustees, will share her powerful work in transforming communities through strategic and collective action.
Following the keynote, the panel will feature leading experts in health, climate, and energy equity as they relate to affordable housing. The speakers will delve into pressing local issues and explore innovative solutions that benefit tenants and reduce climate-harming emissions from across the United States.
Following the event, there will be a networking reception with refreshments. Complimentary copies of the What’s Possible book will be available for attendees.
