Webinar – Near Zero- and Zero-Emissions Concrete for DOTs

May 29–29, 2024 1-2 p.m. ET
Virtual Virtual

This session introduces the emerging field of near zero- and zero-emissions concrete technologies. Speakers cover fundamentals for a set of promising concrete innovations and set the stage for how Departments of Transportation (DOTs) can explore application of these in pilot projects.

Ben Skinner from RMI presents first, defining near zero- and zero-emissions concrete and providing attendees with an understanding of the key technologies available as well as a foundation of how DOTs can get started using these technologies.

The second speaker is Sabbie Miller, a professor at UC Davis is specializing in engineering solutions to minimize embodied carbon in the built environment.

The presentations are followed by a Q&A and a brief attendee polling session.

This webinar is the fourth session in RMI’s Low Carbon Concrete Workshop Series for DOTs.
