Trang is an associate with the Southeast Asia Energy Program, focusing on energy transition efforts in the power sector. Her work includes financing instruments to accelerate early coal phaseout, including the exploration of transition credits and clean energy replacement solutions. Concurrently, Trang works on just transition and technical renewable energy integration solutions to facilitate power sector decarbonization.

Background

Prior to RMI, Trang worked as a supply chain decarbonization advisor to US Fortune 500 corporations, focusing on the Taiwan, Korea, and Japan markets. She also spearheaded a pioneering microgrid concept for industrial users in Vietnam using renewable energy generation in a private distribution grid. She developed successful pilot projects in solar and wind energy in the nascent stage of Vietnam’s renewable energy expansion.
