Teressa (Tess) Healy oversees communications strategy for the Buildings team. In this role, she amplifies and translates complex research into compelling and actionable insights to support the transition to clean, low-carbon, affordable buildings. She also previously worked on communications efforts for RMI’s climate tech accelerator, Third Derivative, helping to accelerate solutions at the forefront of climate innovation and technology.

Background

Prior to joining RMI, Tess worked at the Johns Hopkins University Office of Climate & Sustainability, where she led communications, design, and community engagement across the university — including for JHU’s first Climate Action & Sustainability Plan. She also has a B.A. in Environmental Studies from Dickinson College, where she conducted research on climate resilience in Nepal and worked for the Center for Sustainability Education.
