Shuyu is a senior associate at RMI, where he focuses on applying data science and advanced GenAI models to develop and optimize decarbonization strategies for the industrial and energy sectors.
Background
Prior to RMI, Shuyu worked as a data scientist at the Cook County Sheriff’s Office, where he developed and deployed machine learning models for predictive analytics, directly informing critical policy and operational decisions. His project experience includes developing AI-integrated consulting systems for renewable energy, which provided data-driven insights for cost-effective decarbonization and industrial transformation.
