Shelley directs global operations for the Global South and its six sub-programs. Her responsibilities include overseeing a team of five program operations leads and two executive assistants. Together, they work diligently behind the scenes to facilitate and drive the energy transition in key regions, including Sub-Saharan Africa, the South Pacific, the Caribbean Islands, and Southeast Asia. Shelley’s leadership ensures that critical operational tasks are executed seamlessly, enabling the successful implementation of renewable energy initiatives.

Prior to RMI, Shelley’s worked for Freedom School Partners in Charlotte, NC, the Institute for Scrap Recycling Industries, Inc., and the United States Senate in Washington, DC.
