Richie leads RMI’s Individual Giving team, which develops partnerships with individual philanthropists and family offices to resource and scale efforts to make clean energy more accessible and affordable for communities globally.

Background

With twenty years of fundraising experience, Richie has focused on supporting organizations dedicated to environmental protection and advancing climate solutions. Before joining RMI in the summer of 2022, he worked for more than a decade at the Sierra Club, contributing to the Beyond Coal Campaign and conservation efforts for public lands, water, and wildlife. Prior to this, Richie facilitated connections between the Natural Resources Defense Council’s donor and climate tech affiliate groups and federal policy advocacy and supported emerging leaders in the field at the Environmental Leadership Program.
