Paula is a senior associate in the Global South Program, specifically for Southeast Asia’s energy transition. She leads the Climate Resilient Cities project and offshore wind market development research in the Philippines.
Background
Prior to RMI, Paula was a project manager for the Financial Futures Center, where she led the Philippines Grid Modernization Research project and the Global South climate finance consortium for Asia-Pacific. She was also seconded to the V20 Group, a consortium of 48 finance ministers from the world’s most climate-vulnerable nations, as part of the secretariat. Paula was also an energy transition analyst with the Institute for Climate and Sustainable Cities, an international climate and energy policy think tank based in Manila. She supports rural electrification projects in the Philippines by actively engaging with electric cooperatives and startups.
