As Operations Manager of projects for the Islands Energy Program, Owen is responsible for Project Development Implementation Oversight for a portfolio of 144 MW of renewable energy and energy efficiency projects across the Caribbean region.
Owen has over 9 years of experience of project development as Director and 18 years of experience as a Project Manager with practice in a variety of disciplines. He brings a wealth of project development, project management, procurement and contract management experience to his current role.
Before joining the Rocky Mountain Institute, Owen was the Director of Projects for the Government of Montserrat. As Director of Projects for the Project Implementation Unit, Owen was accountable for Project Development and Management of all Government of Montserrat Capital Infrastructure Projects.
Owen has also been a key member of the Board of Directors for Montserrat Utilities Limited (MUL) since 2011.
