Odgerel is a senior associate with RMI’s Climate Finance Access Network (CFAN). As part of the CFAN team, she helps developing countries secure and structure finance for climate investments, focusing on least developed countries (LDCs) and small island developing states (SIDS).
Odgerel started her career as a resource mobilization intern at the Green Climate Fund (GCF) in 2019. She supported the world’s largest fund’s first replenishment process, where 27 countries pledged to replenish GCF with $9.78 billion equivalent for the next four years. Later, Odgerel transitioned as an outreach and partnership assistant consultant at GCF, building and maintaining strong, positive relations between GCF and partners to profile it as their key associate in helping developing countries raise and realize their nationally determined contributions toward low-emission, climate-resilient pathways. She is passionate about sustainable development that promotes inclusive economic growth, environmental prosperity, and social stability.
