Odgerel is an associate with RMI’s Climate Finance Access Network (CFAN). As part of the CFAN team, she supports developing countries in securing and structuring finance for climate investments, focusing on Least Developed Countries, Small Island Developing States, and African countries.

Background

Odgerel started her career as a resource mobilization intern at the Green Climate Fund (GCF) in 2019. She supported the world’s largest fund’s first replenishment process, in which 27 countries pledged to replenish GCF with US$9.78 billion equivalent for the next four years. Later, Odgerel transitioned as an outreach and partnership assistant consultant at GCF. There, she built and maintained strong, positive relations between GCF and partners to profile GCF as a key partner in supporting developing countries to raise and realize their nationally determined contributions toward low-emissions, climate-resilient pathways.
