Nina is an associate on RMI’s Carbon-Free Buildings Program, where she works on climate solutions that transition buildings away from fossil fuels and provide health and air quality benefits.

Background

Prior to RMI, Nina worked with the Building Energy Exchange (BE-Ex), a nonprofit based in New York City. At BE-Ex, Nina engaged with building industry stakeholders and managed the design and delivery of educational programs on high-performance, low-carbon strategies in the built environment.

Previously, Nina worked with the Carbon Neutral Buildings team at the New York State Energy Research & Development Authority (NYSERDA) while earning her master’s degree from Columbia University. Before graduate school, Nina conducted environmental health research at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, focusing on pediatric health, occupational exposure, and light exposure.
