Matt is a data scientist on the Carbon-Free Transportation team. His research interests include charging infrastructure optimization, fleet electrification, and public transportation.
Matt previously worked at the National Renewable Energy Laboratory on the Energy Markets and Policy team, where he integrated modern data science approaches into the SolarAPP+ workflow. His coursework at Stanford emphasized the application of machine learning and optimization techniques to decarbonization problems.
