Maddy is the Startup Portfolio senior associate at Third Derivative (D3). She works closely with the Startup Portfolio team to support D3’s exceptional portfolio of climate tech startups. Maddy connects startup founders to and works to improve the D3 ecosystem, including a robust network of investors, corporates, expert RMI research and knowledge, and other key resources.

Background

Maddy joins the Third Derivative and RMI teams from Toronto, coming from a background in startup support, global partnerships, innovation, and government. Maddy began her career working at the Canadian Prime Minister’s Office. At PMO, she worked in operations and tour, coordinating announcements, meetings, and events. Most recently, Maddy worked for a leading Canada-based tech incubator, supporting startups and driving international business development. Maddy is passionate about the potential of founders to change the way we do business for the better.
