Leah Komos is an Associate with the Carbon-Free Electricity practice, where she supports research on community engagement and benefits for clean energy projects, as well as initiatives to accelerate virtual power plant (VPP) deployment across the United States.

Background

Prior to joining the Carbon-Free Electricity team, Leah served as a Media Relations Lead at RMI, where she worked closely with national energy and climate journalists to elevate RMI research and analysis across top-tier media outlets. Her work focused on shaping coverage of emerging electricity system trends, including clean energy solutions for data center load growth and electricity affordability.

Before joining RMI, Leah worked in strategic communications at Antenna Group, where she supported media engagement for emerging cleantech companies.
