Kunal is a manager with the Carbon Dioxide Removal Initiative within RMI’s Climate-Aligned Industries Program. He manages RMI’s Ankeron DAC Hub project based in the Pacific Northwest.
Background
Kunal has been working in the Carbon Dioxide Removal (CDR) space since 2020. He has expertise in Direct Air Capture and Carbon Sequestration (DACCS) and has worked on first-of-a-kind projects. He has experience working within the marine CDR and played a key role in facilitating technology acceleration and field experiments. He has participated in various visioning exercises in Western Canada to advance Carbon Management policy development and initiatives.
