Helen is an associate with the Global Electricity Team. She supports RMI’s work to accelerate the coal-to-clean transition by leveraging project finance modeling and research skills. Her work focuses on advancing decarbonization initiatives and promoting sustainable energy solutions in the emerging markets.

Background

Before earning her MPA, Helen worked on renewable energy projects in East Africa, brining electricity access to rural communities. During her studies, she worked with the Environmental Defense Fund and the Presidency of French Polynesia, focusing on climate resilience and energy transitions. She holds a CFA Level I certification and advanced skills in project finance modeling. Helen combines policy analysis, financial expertise, and field experience to support sustainable development. In her free time, she enjoys scuba diving, reading, and playing the guitar.
