Esther Sicong Li is a Senior Associate with RMI’s Climate Aligned Industries program, where she focus on advancing decarbonization strategies for heavy transport, aviation, and corporate value chains. Her expertise spans greenhouse gas (GHG) accounting and reporting, book and claim systems, and sustainable aviation fuel (SAF), with a commitment to delivering actionable solutions and fostering impactful stakeholder collaboration. She has co-led industry initiatives, developed sustainability frameworks, and contributed to global standards to drive progress toward a low-carbon future.

Background

Esther founded and chaired the sustainability club at Hult International School, leading the organization of a hybrid global sustainability summit with leaders from different industries sharing practices of various topics in climate data and technology, climate science communication, impact investment, and corporate sustainability.

Esther is passionate about making a positive impact on the planet and people. Prior to working for climate, Esther was a consultant for international businesses and an entrepreneur founding and running an NGO and an ultimate frisbee startup in China.
