Allisandra is a senior associate with the Strategy Team, working with senior leaders to evaluate RMI’s portfolio and maximize the organization’s impact. As part of this work, Allisandra supports institute-wide energy equity strategies to cultivate benefits for frontline communities in the energy transition.

Background

Prior to RMI, Allisandra managed utility-scale wind, solar, and battery projects across California and Nevada for a leading renewable energy operator. Allisandra also worked as a sustainability, energy, and climate change consultant, focusing on global renewable energy procurement.

While in school, Allisandra worked with the Sierra Club in coordination with environmental and energy justice organizations in Detroit, and subsequently focused her master’s thesis on a framework to cut greenhouse gas emissions in Detroit while cultivating community benefits beyond climate.
