This document recaps the launch of the Reinventing Fire: China project. Identifying the enthusiasm and interest among China’s energy leaders. Leaders include the Deputy Director of ERI, a representative from the World Bank, and others. Two major themes that emerged are: China must have an inspirational and aspirational vision to stretch beyond its current thinking and U.S.-China collaboration on matters of energy efficiency and renewables is essential.
