Project Description:

Hawaii has set ambitious clean energy and clean transportation goals including greenhouse gas emissions reduction goals aligned with the Paris Agreement, a 100% renewable portfolio by 2045, and carbon neutrality and zero emissions by 2045. To advance these goals, the team will explore how to structure and implement innovative financing and procurement of EVs and efficient vehicles for Hawaii’s public fleets. During the Accelerator, they will work to identify innovative mechanisms to advance clean transportation at the state and county levels with the goal of these programs being able to scale broadly across the public sector.
