Stephen leads RMI’s programmatic efforts to help US cities and communities leverage federal programs and incentives to accelerate the adoption of clean technologies. This work builds on Stephen’s 10 years of experience supporting a variety of organizations–from universities to large companies–and his team specializes in providing a combination of technical insights, best practices, and tactical guidance to support communities in implementing equitable clean solutions.

Background

Prior to taking on his current role engaging local communities, Stephen served as a core team member and leader of the Business Renewables Center (BRC) effort at RMI. In this position, Steve led a number of projects, including developing a series of technical manuals and guides, overseeing the creation of the program’s web platform, and regularly facilitating in-person training events and workshops. Stephen’s prior work experience before RMI included conducting research for a renewable energy developer and analyzing the financial impacts of corporate decisions while working at an economic consulting firm.
